What is Cooking Arrangements?
Cooking Arrangements is an active [or semi-active, lol] blog for those who enjoy cooking, food, or just want to know a quick recipe or technique. Anyone who has a recipe, idea, pictures [or etc] can become a contributor to Cooking Arrangements. It's basically one big online recipe journal for everyone to share.
What is the purpose of the "Lesson" tab or "Gardening" and "Tea"?
Well, the lesson tab is for those who may want to learn how to properly hold their knife or learn how to slice and dice a carrot. Its basically "lessons" that I've learned in culinary school that I wanted to share that some people may not already know or refresh on. The gardening and tea tabs just gives a little history on how to garden and the different types of teas. You have to think that most of our ingredients comes from someone's garden. With the rising of food cost today, why not grow your own veggies or fruits in your own garden. Well, for the tea tab, I love drinking tea. So, I just thought I could add a little something for the tea-lovers out there.
Why do you want contributors on Cooking Arrangements?
They may have their own creations or cook a recipe differently than I would do it, so I want someone else's viewpoint besides my own. You can give two persons the same recipes, but it will never come out the same. Besides, they may know something that I don't know or may want to share something from their culture.
Can anybody be a contributor? Can they be creative?
Anybody can be a contributor to CA [Cooking Arrangements] and they can be creative blog-wise as long as it food-related. Can they change the layout or design of the blog itself? No, but I'm willing to take some suggestions into considerations.
Can contributor put contests on Cooking Arrangements? Or will you?
No. I don't want that financial responsibility. So, no contests.
What about the recipes? Can a contributor use someone else's photo or recipes as their own in his/her post?
If a contributor or myself uses a photo of a recipe that isn't ours or the recipe itself, it should get proper credits. You know, tell the readers where you got it from. Post a link. I don't mind it being used unless they credit the source. I love it better when you use your own stuff.
Can your reader contact you, in case he/she wishes to contribute?
Yea, they can email me at cookingarrangements@yahoo.com
Any last words to your readers?
Hungry? Let's eat.
